She was cared for by the staff with an incredible amount of compassion. We were so glad she was there and we were able to be with her to the end while she was being cared for with such professionalism. They had a few activities for her to participate in. She had a nice room perfect size for her with her own bathroom. She was able to take her meals in the dining room or eat in her room which ever she preferred that day. She was also able to go with others on trips shopping and even to shows.
The rooms at Blossom Hill Health Care Residence were mostly double-occupancy and there were also single-occupancies. They're not nearly as big as the room in my mother's current community. The staff member was good, they answered all my questions, and they were very helpful. My mom could probably go there if she declines. They have physical therapy, and other activities for the residents.
Background to this inspection
My mom is in Blossom Hill and it is a great place with great staff. It's actually an independent house, so each person has a separate bedroom unit, and there's a major commons area. The place was remodeled to accommodate wheelchairs so there are no tight corners to get hung up on. It has a beautiful outdoor area with a wooded view out the back. It's a really nice place and they do all kinds of stuff.

The staff at Blossom Hill are very attentive and communicate in a timely and appropriate manner with our family. They do their best to accommodate our loved ones needs. Keeping these facilities staffed is not easy at this time but the staff they have does a fantastic job and we really appreciate them.
The reason we went to it is, of course, it was a very homey atmosphere. I did like the fact that there were few people. Mom was in the more institutional place with a lot of people in it, but that didn't make her comfortable. She has developed a nice relationship with the people there. I felt comfortable that she would be comfortable there.
The home had sufficient supplies of appropriate PPE which was stored hygienically and kept safe and staff were provided with separate areas to put on and take off and dispose of PPE safely. We have found local resources that can help you evaluate Ohman Family Living At Blossom. Close proximity to hospitals and places of worship can be helpful in evaluating a provider. – the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve. These assessments can include site visits, criminal record checks, interviews with key managers and a detailed review of how the service will be run. Follow-up inspections of new services are undertaken regularly following registration.

It was remodeled in 2015, and has beautiful hardwood floors and granite countertops. Blossom Hill, located on ten acres, feels like home.

Blossom Fields is rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission for its nursing, end of life and dementia nursing care to the elderly.
